About Us

Encore Coring & Drilling Inc., a division of the Ensign Energy Services Inc., is a Calgary-based company that operates throughout Western Canada and internationally for the past 53 years. Encore is a member of the Canadian Association of Oilwell Drilling Contractors (CAODC) and specializes in wireline coring and drilling conventional shallow gas, and coalbed methane wells less than 1000 m in depth.

The company provides overall value to its client base through mobility, innovation and versatility. A fleet of mobile rigs has allowed the company to consistently build a reputation for improved safety and productivity performance. Our latest generation drilling rigs the ADR-1000 combine "Automated Drill Rig” ä technology, mobility, and coil-tubing capability to provide maximum efficiency in the safest manner possible.
